"I wouldn't say I'm playing happy, but I'm playing"
Gareth Bale has opened up on his current situation in an interview with 'Sky Sports'. He admitted he was not having fun at times.
It all started last season when some people wanted to blame him for his team's poor season. "It was difficult for everyone, for the team and for me," he explained.
"I was blamed more than the rest. I take it with a pinch of salt even though maybe it's not all fully fair," the Welshman said, complaining that there is a campaign against him.
Later on he was asked about his supposed departure to China and Bale replied "I was surprised by the change in opinion over my future. But I'm sure there'll be plenty more turbulence, to be honest," he said.
I suppose it is something you will have to speak to Real Madridabout and it's between me and them, we will have to come to some sort of conclusion. I concentrated on having a good pre-season without knowing where I would end up," he continued.
He finished with a strong statement on the current situation. "I wouldn't say I'm playing happy, but I'm playing, when I am playing I am professional and I am always giving all I can".
