Huge demand for the Atletico v Juventus CL game

The Wanda Metropolitano stadium will see a huge crowd in for the first game of the Champions League group stage for both sides. The tickets have almost all been sold in just three days.

Atletico Madrid are very close to announcing that their Champions League match with Juventus on 18th September will be a sell out. 

It will not just be another game for the Spanish side. 'Los Rojiblancos' want revenge for what happened last season, Cristiano Ronaldo will be back once again and it will be a key game in the group.

The Atletico fans know that and in just three days, almost all of the 12,000 tickets put up for sale on the club's website have been sold. There were queues online of up to 50 minutes. 

The website even ended up crashing and they are now less than 300 tickets plus VIP seats and any season ticket holders who wish to give their ticket to someone else. There is plenty of interest in Atletico's return to the Champions League.
