"If Neymar thought like Ronaldo, he would be among the best"

Neymar could be among the best in the world, but he must change. This is what Jorge Jesus thinks, coach of Flamengo, who states that he must focus if he wants to continue rising in the football world\

Jorge Jesus was asked about his all-time favourite player in 'Globoesporte'. "I have never seen Pele, Puskas or Garrincha play. I saw Maradona and in recent years, Messi and Cristiano are out of this world," he stated.

"Maradona was a great player. My idol was Cruyff... Messi is 'top', as well as Ronaldinho", Jorge Jesus continued. And he put Neymar into the equation "He could be at this level if he had the training and the mindframe of Ronaldo", he thought.

Because Jorge Jesus is clear: either he focuses, or he will not be among the best in the world. "Either he changes, or it won't come", he said flatly.

"If his mindframe does not change, he will not get there. Because you have to think what is more important, the pleasure and passion of football, or the pleasure of having luxuries on the outside".

In the case of Cristiano, Jorge Jesus believes that the answer is clear. "That's what CR7 has, the pleasure, the passion for football, it is much stronger than everything else. He also has other passions, but he knows how to balance them, that's the big difference," he shared.

Because the Juventus striker is, for Jorge Jesus, the best player at the moment  "Cristiano is the best, Messi is more of an artist. The Portuguese does not need any flourish to do what the Argentine does".
